Partial knee replacement is surgery that replaces (or resurfaces) the damaged portion of the knee while saving the healthy knee ligaments, bone, and soft tissues. While total knee replacement is more common, recent data shows that about 10-15% of patients with osteoarthritis are eligible for this treatment.
