Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries are common in athletes because the ACL helps stabilize and support the knee joint. Left untreated, the knee may give out and the cartilage may wear down at a faster rate. Read the stories of patients who had an ACL tear, rupture, or other injury, but received the appropriate treatment at HSS to get back in the game.
