I had a sore shoulder and decided to find a doctor at HSS based on a recommendation from a friend who had several procedures at HSS. I went online and read background of the sports medicine doctors and selected Dr. Ted Blaine. He diagnosed the problem and performed the rotator cuff surgery.
I can't speak more highly about the entire experience at HSS. Dr. Blaine has an excellent manner with patients, projects competence, and takes the time to explain everything ahead of time. His team is excellent also, all are friendly and helpful. The surgery went without a hitch. The small scars were so well done that 4 months later they are hard to even find. Post-surgery pain was almost zero.
I give Dr. Blaine 5 stars and would recommend him to anyone with a rotator cuff situation.
