I've always been active and limber. When I wasn't able to tie my shoe laces, or for that matter, put on my shoes comfortably, I knew I was in trouble. I was unable to walk on the beach (that I love), let alone swim. I could barely lift my leg into my car.
I carefully researched methods of hip replacement surgery. I was willing to go anywhere in the world to have the surgery. After meeting and speaking to Dr. Boettner, I trusted him completely. He and his capable assistants pulled me through. Just before surgery he looked at my legs and said that one was somewhat longer than the other. He said, " don't worry, I'll fix that"...and he did.
I've NEVER walked better...and longer. I'm swimming, back to dancing, and back to my activities, I lost 30 pounds and feel and move better than ever!
Incidentally, my surgery was done over a holiday weekend. The hospital was fully staffed with caring, wonderful people. By the time I left, I was walking stairs.
