I was a 65 year old woman who could not walk anymore. I could not exercise or even walk up steps. I gained weight from not being active and I was unhappy with myself. Dr. McLawhorn came recommended by a woman 20 years older than I, who had her hip replaced and was golfing and skiing shortly after. I was convinced that he was the doctor I wanted to see. Once I met with Dr. McLawhorn, I knew he was the doctor I wanted to trust my operation with. I had several preexisting conditions and the operation could have been very problematic for me; but with the expertise of Dr. McLawhorn and his staff, together with my local doctors, my total hip replacement was performed without any complications! The doctor had me up and walking the same night after the operation. I will highly recommend Dr. McLawhorn and HSS for your hip replacement. As a matter of fact I am planning to have my left hip replacement done by the end of this year by Dr. McLawhorn. I want to live the rest of my life pain-free and keep up with my 28 year old daughter.
