After falling in Dominican Republic last September on vacation, my best friend contacted her friend Ms. Tracy Hickenbottom, who works for HSS. She referred me to Dr. Joshua Dines. I am grateful that by time I landed, I had Dr. Dines' information and contacted him.
I was in the hospital the next day. After a torn patella tendon I was scheduled for surgery the following Monday.
Dr. Dines and his team put my knee back together! It's been 7 long months, but I'm back to regular activities (except for spinning) and that is my goal before the end of the year.
Having never been in the hospital, my recovery wasn't easy. I was in the hospital for 4 days and I've never felt more cared for.
I am grateful to HSS and all the wonderful staff including the nurses. I am most grateful to Dr. Joshua Dines and his entire team!
I am walking. Stairs are still a bit difficult, but considering I began in a wheelchair, I'm thrilled!
