In June 2013, I was in an exercise class when I had a sudden pain in my left hip. At first, I thought I had pulled a muscle in my groin. After I realized I had a more serious problem, I looked up the best hip doctors in New York City and found Dr. Buly (and HSS).
Dr. Buly immediately diagnosed me with torn labrums and femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) in both hips. At first, I thought I might never run again. I was wrong. After having surgery on and fully rehabbing both hips to repair my labrums and resolve the FAI, I am back to running and can engage in any activity I want. I am grateful that I found Dr. Buly and HSS and recommend both anytime I hear of someone with a hip problem or other joint issue.
