I had a motorcycle racing accident (I'm a 57 year old cardiologist at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center) on July 6th in South Jersey that resulted in bilateral ACL/MCL tears. I contacted Dr. Dines by email from the ER near the track in hopes of having surgery ASAP. He responded immediately and agreed to work to get me in on July 8th---he was terrific in accommodating me. The surgery on the right knee, along with the rehabilitation/recovery has gone incredibly well. I was back on my street motorcycle 7 weeks post op---don't tell Dr. Dines. I am having a second surgery on the right knee for the ACL repair with him on September 12th.

Simultaneous bilateral ligamentous or tendon knee injuries are exceedingly rare. His thoughtful approach and careful planning for this rare injury has been nothing short of spectacular, and undoubtedly led to a good outcome.
