After fifteen years of professional wrestling in my youth and running three marathons I had constant pain in my left hip. I went to HSS to see Dr. Rozbruch who had taken care of my wife's broken ankle and elbow. He showed me my x-rays and said it was time for a hip replacement. The operation went very well and I was up and walking pain-free in no time. When I went to him for my followup I told him my wife and I were planning a trip to Mongolia in six months. It would be a long, bumpy ride across the Gobi. Dr. Rozbruch said, "I can see there's no use in trying to talk you out of it. but I gave you a Cadillac so drive it like one."
He gave me all the advice he could about how to protect my new hip, but he didn't specifically tell me that I shouldn't climb on a half-wild Mongolian horse. So I did. It's now eleven years later and my hip is still perfect. Dr. Rozbruch and HSS got me back in the game.
