В январе 2017 года д-р Делла Валле сделал мне операцию- total hip replacement. Этой операции предшествовали долгие годы болезни. Я боялась операции и возможных осложнений. Исходя из возможностей моей страховки я выбирала врача через интернет. И я счастлива, что не ошиблась в своем выборе. На первой же консультации я увидела , что доктор очень внимателен , не настаивает на немедленной операции и в то же время четко разъясняет её необходимость. Учитывая, что я к этому времени уже много знала о своем заболевании, я по достоинству оценила выданные мне тексты о болезни, операции, последствиях. Все четко, последовательно, продуманно. До операции у меня была мечта, чтобы она была выполнена под компьютерной навигацией, но я даже не заикнулась об этом при враче, думала, что я уже стара для таких современных методов. Вы не можете себе представить, каково же было мое удивление, нет, восторг, когда я по проекции послеоперационного шва и следов двух проколов на уровне гребня подвздошной кости поняла, что доктор сделал мне именно такую высоко технологичную операцию. Я встретилась с доктором через 6 недель после операции и после того, как он завершил осмотр, спросила его- действительно ли он сделал мне такой тип операции? Ведь теперь я даже не хромаю. In January 2017, I had a total hip replacement with Dr. Della Valle. This surgery was preceded by long years of illness. I was afraid of the surgery and possible complications. Based on my insurance, I have selected a doctor over the Internet. And I am happy that I made no mistake in my choice. At the first consultation, I already saw that the doctor was very attentive, he did not insist on an immediate surgery, and, at the same time, he clearly explained its necessity. Taking into consideration the fact, that by then I already knew a lot about my illness, I fully appreciated the overall explanation about my illness, surgery and consequences related to this surgery, etc... Everything was clear, consistent and well thought through. Prior to my surgery, I dreamed about my surgery to be performed under the computer assisted navigation, but I did not even mention that to the doctor; I thought that based on my age I would not qualify for such modern procedures. You cannot imagine, how surprised, actually, ecstatic, I was, when based on the view of my postsurgical suture and the traces of two punctures at the level of the iliac crest, I understood that the doctor performed that same highly technological surgery. I met with the doctor 6 weeks after the surgery, and after he completed the examination, I asked him if he really has performed this type of surgery? I mean, I don’t even limp any more. The doctor confirmed this – calmly, without any fanfares. I am absolutely speechless by his responsibility, professionalism, modesty, and humanity. Thank you, Doctor!
