I had a total knee replacement in late January of this year at a different facility in Pennsylvania. By 12 weeks post-op, I continued to have pain, lost the ability to walk without an assistive device and my operated knee was obviously misaligned. I saw Dr. Lee on a Wednesday, we discussed a plan of treatment and he did my surgery the following Tuesday. During my short hospital stay, every person I interacted with, without exception, was compassionate, professional and caring. I can certainly understand why HSS has been ranked #1 in orthopedics for 13 consecutive years by U.S. News and World Report!
I am only 2 weeks post-op and I am beyond thrilled with my results! I am walking with only minimal discomfort and without an assistive device, I have been able to return to most of my usual activities and am looking very forward to resuming my hobby of competitive ballroom dancing soon!
