February 26th, 2015 marks the one year anniversary since Dr. Daniel Green performed surgery on our 16 year old son to correct his osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) on his left knee. At that time we hoped and prayed that he would be able to continue pursuing his passion of playing competitive basketball in high school and then potentially in college. Although he started off slow in the season, we are thrilled to report that he worked his way in to a starting position on his high school basketball team and was very instrumental in the team winning Florida 4A Districts, Regionals, and finished State Runner-up. He even had his first dunk in the State Championship game (see photos)!! He is now playing travel AAU basketball pain-free.
We just wanted to thank you and your staff for helping make his dreams a reality. Kristen (Dr. Green’s Practice Manager – Surgical Coordinator) was amazingly helpful and prompt in all her communications with us. This was important to us since we were traveling from out of state (Florida). You were all awesome, caring, and made this difficult time of my sons life peaceful.
