My name is Ryanne Gulbin, and my story began during the last game of my senior year - a game that would determine whether my team, Fairfield Warde basketball, would be the #1 or #2 seed.

I was driving to the basket when my knee gave way. Long, devastating story short: my ACL was torn. Everything I had worked for - 1,000 career points, All-State honors, Player of the Year - felt like it was taken away in an instant. No postseason games. No chance to bring my longtime coach, Coach Danko, a championship.

I was committed to play at Union College, but suddenly, I was asking myself: What happens now? Then I met Dr. Joshua Dines. His exact words to me were: “You will be playing in the NCAA in 9 months!”

And he was right. Dr. Dines repaired my ACL and meniscus, and I followed my rehab plan to the letter. Nine and a half months later, I was back on the court, playing in my first college games.

HSS brought me back to the game I love. Dr. Dines and his team are incredible, and I would recommend them to anyone facing this challenge.
