Dr. Allen has worked on both of my knees, and I can confidently say that there is no other orthopedic surgeon I would rather see. I first met him my sophomore year after I tore my ACL playing division one lacrosse at Princeton University. I had just earned a starting position on a nationally ranked defense, but was soon hobbled in the second game of our season when I fell with a devastating knee injury. I tore my ACL, PCL, and sprained my MCL in a single awkward plant. A month later I was in the operating room with Dr. Allen at the helm. Not only did he perform an excellent surgery but he inspired confidence for my healthy return. I began physical therapy motivated and knew I had received the very best care. Just months later, I returned to my team even stronger. I reclaimed my starting position on defense and contributed to an outright Ivy League Championship and NCAA Tournament birth.
I write now, a few years later, recovering from a second ACL surgery performed on my other knee. While I no longer participate in competitive athletics, Dr. Allen is just as committed to getting me back to my active self. Two months after my most recent reconstruction I feel exceptional progress. I know I will soon be back to my daily routine whether it's playing in a men's league or going out for a round of golf. Thank you Dr. Allen and your excellent supporting staff!
