On the recommendation of a friend who had been treated by Dr. Wolfe, I consulted him for severe pain in my wrists. He determined that I had osteoarthritis in both thumbs and offered three options; braces, cortisone injections or surgery. Initially, I chose cortisone injections knowing that they provide temporary relief. Seven months later, when the effects of the cortisone were wearing off, I scheduled surgery on my right wrist. The surgery went without issue and my recovery was going so well that Dr. Wolfe agreed to operate on my left wrist three months ahead of schedule. That surgery went equally well and today I am essentially pain-free, although Dr. Wolfe said that I will continue to improve over time.
I have Dr. Wolfe to thank for giving me back my mobility and allowing me to feel like a young man again.
