Back in May 2017 I fell from my Enduro motorcycle and dislocated my left shoulder. The initial diagnosis was a partial tear of my left rotator cuff. In August 2017, Dr. Answorth Allen confirmed the diagnosis, and I went right away into arthroscopic surgery. The personnel at HSS was very attentive and everything went perfectly. Dr. Allen confirmed the damage, and said that it was really a complete rotator cuff tear, not a partial one.
I received the physical therapy guidelines and started with the exercises. As the weeks and months went by my shoulder started to feel much better and stronger. In January 2018, I was Back in the Game! I rode 4 hours of Hard Enduro in Dominican Republic. My shoulder was able to handle the motorcycle and go through the obstacles.
