I would like to say that I am grateful that I was set up with Dr. Michelle Kew and her staff, being assisted by Michelle Sullivan, Myrna Mercado, and others. I broke my right collar bone and was looking for a professional and reliable place. I called HSS to make an appointment, where Dr. Michelle Kew was assigned to me. I looked up her profile, and she has her history/information accessible, which is a great one as she cares about her profession. When I met with Dr. Michelle Kew and Michelle Sullivan for the initial consultation, they were patient and informative. Dr. Kew took her time as well as asked me my opinion and checked to see how I felt about the approach of the situation. The day of surgery went well. The HSS staff made the day comfortable and I felt at ease. I spoke with everyone - nurses, anesthesia crew and others including Dr. Michelle Kew - before surgery. When I was done, I couldn't believe it had happened. It went smooth and in a timely matter - I woke up fine. After surgery, I had several visits to Dr. Michelle Kew and Michelle Sullivan to check up and talk about my progress. I felt so comfortable talking to them and learning to understand how to move on. I like how they kept an understanding to a patient's concern, but they kept it straight with me. One thing that was told to me by Dr. Michelle Kew's secretary, Ms. Myrna Mercado, is how she tried her best to align my skin because I had a tattoo in the area that she operated - and I was amazed because I would never ask of such a thing when I was more concerned about my injury. That goes to show you what kind of person Dr. Michelle Kew is as well as her team and staff. God bless Dr. Michelle Kew and her family.
