Very efficient left total hip replacement (anterior approach; I had an earlier right THR 20 years ago). I had zero pain and was on the stationary bike the day after. I was on an upright bike (mountain bike) on flat paved roads 3 days after surgery and every day thereafter. We live in Colorado during the winter, and was skiing groomers with the grandkids at 8 weeks and normal skiing at 12 weeks. I returned to running (jogging) with ultra-soft shoes at the end of winter - about 16 weeks. No issues. Just got back from a week of riding dirt bikes with one of our sons in Moab, Utah. I would rate my surgery as complete success - until I wear it out!
