Patrick Quinn

I was a 28-year-old young man in the prime of my life. Little did I know, my body was about to start weakening from the devastating disease ALS. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know where to turn. Until one day, I received a referral to see Dr. Dale Lange at HSS. My decision to go to HSS was the best move I could have made to fight this disease. From the second I met Dr. Lange, we connected. I knew he would be the one to see me through every step of this difficult journey. That is exactly what he has done and so much more. I can talk to Dr. Lange like a close friend because over the past 7 years, he has become way more than just my doctor. Not only is he the man, but his entire team has become family. May is ALS Awareness Month. This disease needs all the awareness it can get. I'm beyond grateful for the care I receive from HSS, Dr. Lange, and his team. I may not be getting back in any games soon, but they are keeping me ready for the day that treatment or cure is available. Thanks for everything. I love you guys!
