I had my first hip replaced when I was 45, my second hip replaced when I was 60 and my first hip revision when I was 67. If you take care of yourself and stay strong and healthy there is nothing you can't do except run, jump or pound your hip.
I am very active. I coached college basketball and at the present time I teach fitness for Law Enforcement at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
With my hips I ski, snow shoe, cross country ski, play tennis, racket ball, golf, hike, bike, swim and anything else I want to do. I am involved in my landscaping and help others with their gardens.
