It was my Sophomore year of high school and I was playing in the championship football game. I went to tackle the running back and my arm got caught between two players, hyper-extending my elbow. I came out of the game immediately due to pain and lack of range of motion. After a couple months of trying to rest it I finally went to find out I had torn my UCL which needed Tommy John Surgery. Because I was a baseball player, the surgery was necessary because without it, I would not have been able to throw a baseball. Thanks to the great surgeon Dr. Dines and my Physical Therapist Tony Amin, I was able to get healed and healthy in less than a year which helped me get receive a scholarship to play college baseball.
