It was 8 AM on May 21, 2015. I went in for surgery to rebuild and replace 90 percent of my right foot and ankle. Now, five months to the date, I walked in (gingerly) to Robin Hood Radio today with no walker, no cane, no foot cast...just a scruffy pair of sneakers. No pain. Yes, a slight limp (still getting used to this thing called no pain walking), still swelling in the lower leg and ankle/foot...and will be for a while. But..I am walking. Pain free. No aids. Myself. First time with no pain in over 15 years. Thanks to Dr. Rozbruch, Dr. Positano, and Hospital For Special Surgery....amazing!
