I had a tarsal coalition surgery at HSS with Dr. Elliott. My Yale family recommended Dr. Elliott. I am so grateful they did! Prior to HSS, I had interviewed multiple surgeons, but they all said my foot required multiple metal screws.
Dr. Elliott explained my foot condition as an adult patient, since this condition is prevalent in pediatric patients. He also answered all of my questions and concerns about surgery. My surgery went extremely well. I don't have one single mental screw in my foot when every other surgeon said I needed them. I am living life with a pain-free foot.
Dr. Elliott is not only a wonderful surgeon, but a surgeon with a heart of gold and super down to earth. He genuinely cares about all his patients. I never felt rushed during all my visits. He was there for me every step of the way along with his surgical team. He also met with my parents before and after my surgery, since this was my first surgery.
Every time I had a question or concern, Dr. Elliott emailed me right back. A year after foot surgery, I was hiking and paragliding in the Swiss Alps. Thank you Dr. Elliott for being there for me! Thank you HSS for a wonderful experience.
