I found Dr. Sheha after an extremely daunting original back surgery experience with another surgeon.
My story began with over 20 years of suffering with back pain. Being told that I was going to face a difficult surgery journey after multiple opinions, and not be guaranteed to be out of pain I found an original back surgeon who said he could fuse 5 discs in my back, and I would be 95% pain-free.
Unfortunately, after my first surgery I was in excruciating pain and after 3 1/2 months with no relief and very little assessment, with a delay diagnosis, I found my way to Dr. Sheha’s office after being referred by a friend.
The moment he walked in the office and looked at all of my images, he saw the problem immediately. I needed another back surgery after 4 months. As you can imagine I was scared because of the pain I had experienced last time.
He and his team were so caring and confident about my comfort level and assured me they would manage the pain and process pre- and post-surgery. Not to mention the way they explained every detail to me about what and why I was going through this.
His knowledge gave me such confidence that it was an easy decision for me. Dr. Sheha took great care to reset and readjust the initial back surgery and a couple months after had to do one more minor adjustment. Since then I have been standing up straight and at 71, I continue to be a busy hair stylist, completely pain-free. Next goal, play some golf. My problem is solved. I cannot thank Dr. Sheha and his team enough.
