I recently had knee replacement surgery with Dr. Alberto Carli, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for his surgical expertise. If ever there was a person afraid of replacement surgery it was I. I was told I needed a knee replacement 9 years ago, and tried everything until I got to the point that I could not walk without a cane. The pain was very bad and my daily activities were very limited. I was not really living my life over the last year. I had the surgery at the Main Campus on December 11th, 2024. It went very smoothly. The day after surgery when I put my foot on the floor I instantly felt the difference. It felt like I had my leg back and my life back! Of course, there was pain after surgery, but honestly the pain after surgery is very irrelevant when you realize that you are able to walk again. Walking is definitely not overrated! I am very grateful to Dr. Carli and his wonderful staff. I am now two months post-op and am walking in the park, riding a stationary bike, and almost taking the stairs consecutively up and down, something that I had not done for a long time. I am looking forward to getting out this Spring and doing all the things that I have missed for so long.

The entire experience was handled with professionalism, making me feel valued and supported every step of the way.
