Yes! Yes! Yes! I am back in the game! My deepest thanks to Dr. Qureshi. Meeting him saved my life. I had severe lower spine pain. I could not feel my legs, hips or lower back. I was crawling to get around. I was very close to being in a wheelchair. I had seen six doctors who could not help me. This went on for three years. I was told I had severe scoliosis and arthritis. All they wanted to do was give me drugs. No one would address the real problem. They didn't listen to me or the numerous MRI's I had which showed what the problem was. Finally I searched Hospital for Special Surgery, sent my scans in, and was immediately contacted by another doctor who recommended I meet with Dr. Qureshi. My appointment was amazing. He walked in, greeted me, knew my case, and told me he could help me. He talked with me, he listened to me, and we saw the exact problem. He explained everything in detail. I had spine decompression fusion (L4, L5, S1) and spinal stenosis surgery July 2017. While waiting to have the surgery, Dr. Qureshi and his staff were always there for me and called me immediately when I had to speak to them. They always addressed my feelings and concerns. The surgery worked. I had no pain, was able to stand up straight, and got the feeling back in my legs. Two weeks later I was climbing stairs. Within 2 months I was dancing at my daughter's wedding. I was in cleaning mode and I moved furniture! I'm doing PT. Awesome training on Elliptical, Bike and Core Strengthening. I feel awesome. Dr. Qureshi gave me the confidence to overcome this debilitating condition by just being a brilliant surgeon and a good listener. It's been three months and I do everything and more. Thank you Dr. Qureshi for making me feel like I matter and my pain was very real. You gave me a second chance and I'm enjoying every minute.
