Laurence Bellings

I spent years in pain, unable to join my family in activities and walk the dog, even to the corner, without excruciating pain. A spinal surgery somewhere else eight years prior did not help. Over the years, my pain became worse and my quality of life deteriorated as I missed out on activities, even those that only required walking from the car to the venue. Then I saw Dr. Kim and Dr. Vigdorchik and together they created a plan to help me. Their kindness and compassion put me at ease and their knowledge and experience left me hopeful. Sure enough, they changed my life. It is now one year after my first surgery and I am bike riding, walking almost 10,000 steps a day and enjoying life. Living steps from the beach, I had not been able to walk there for years. This summer I enjoyed the beach again! I am sure I would not be doing so well if I had gone anywhere else. Once all restrictions were lifted at the six month mark, I began to move in ways I had not done in years and I am pain-free! Thank you, Dr. Kim, Dr. Vigdorchik and the amazing staff at HSS!
