In 2016-2017 I discovered I had advanced hip arthritis and was bone-on-bone in both hips. After skiing in the Dolomites in March 2017 I called Dr Salvati's office and scheduled visits to pursue hip replacements. He told me previously I'll know when is the right time to do this, and he as right. Outdoor activities like skiing and hiking are my passions and at 59 years old, I had to do something. Picking HSS was obvious to me as the best place to have this done and I've never regretted that decision. Dr Salvati and staff were awesome and I had two hip replacements in 2017, one in July and the second one in September. And I was skiing at Banff by March 2018. The professionalism and high standards of all those at HSS made my hip replacements seamless and they made me feel at home.

I am a Ski Club Trip leader and have taken many people out west, Canada and the northeast since my replacements. Attached are pictures of my trips, which I would not have been able to do without my new lease on life with this new hips. Thank you!
