Killian Cain

Killian was 8 months old when he was seen at HSS for a second opinion for a family history of hip dysplasia. He had a full dislocation and Dr. Dodwell performed his surgery and guided us through the spica cast process. You're not just another patient with her and she gives her patients personalized care and attention. We're incredibly happy with the experience we've had with her and the entire HSS team. We were especially appreciative of the collaborative surgical effort of Dr. Dodwell and Dr. Sink, and were happy to have two surgeons examining his case. Everyone at HSS treated us kindly and with patience as we navigated this experience. I'm astounded at how quickly my little guy bounced back. My son was walking at 14 months, which was remarkable for a kid who spent 3 months in a full body cast! In between his periodic checkups, he now climbs on EVERYTHING, rides a scooter, and chases his dogs and big sister around.
