As a lifelong hiker, runner, skier, and lover of the outdoors, Morton's Neuroma left me unable to even step out of bed without pain. After two years of trying every alternative to surgery, I could not resign myself to the idea of never doing any of those things again. With the support of my family and Dr. Elliott, I moved forward with the neurectomy in March of 2019. The hospital staff were wonderful, super considerate and everyone took the time to explain procedures and next steps. Last week I was able to summit the climb I'd been planning before Morton's Neuroma showed up (Cotopaxi), and I've never been so grateful. THANK YOU to Dr. Elliott and HSS for giving me my life back.
