Excellent. Received a realistic diagnosis with recommendation for conservative treatment; leading to a partial replacement (inner right knee) of joint completely worn out and too painful for day to day activities after >50 years of running and other athletics, aggravated by slight bowleg condition. Had it done in May 2011 and operation went well with no complications. Started flexibility exercises the next day and went home on 3rd day using a walker. Quickly progressed to a cane and rapidly responded to therapy at home and followed up at an outpatient facility. Should have done it much earlier and not put off the inevitable. That is my best advice. It does not get better with age and your ability to heal and recover only declines. Get a diagnosis, a recommendation and get it done. NOW!
