I suffered a shoulder fracture in February. The first physician I saw recommended surgery. I then went to see Dr. Samuel Taylor for a second opinion. Dr. Taylor reviewed the x-rays and MRI, and then ordered a CT Scan. Instead of surgery, he prescribed physical therapy. After a follow-up evaluation, Dr. Taylor found that the fracture was healing well. Today I am back in the game-without surgery--thanks to Dr. Taylor; a truly outstanding orthopedic surgeon who helped me avoid surgery. As far as I'm concerned this is the biggest play Dr. Taylor has made since he scored the touchdown against Dartmouth, starting a 21-point comeback that saved Harvard's undefeated 2001 season.
