I came to Dr. Allan Inglis in 2018, at the ripe old age of 60 after a collegiate gymnastics injury had finally caught up with me many years later in the form of hip arthritis. Having always been a very active athlete running the gamut from gymnastics, track & field, pole vaulting, triathlons, skiing, windsurfing, beach volleyball, road and mountain cycling, and ice hockey I had slowed down considerably and found myself sitting on the sidelines more often than not due to extreme discomfort in my right hip, and I was simply not ready to be put our to pasture. After way too many episodes of sitting on the sidelines I said to myself "I am not living my life the way I always enjoyed it, and the way it was meant to be lived; being in the great outdoors and enjoying all which Mother Nature has to offer." So I did my research and found myself sitting in front of Dr. Inglis discussing my options.

Well I can say, unequivocally, that Dr. Inglis GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK by replacing my damaged hip joint with a splendid piece of titanium hardware, which is now very much a part of me, and gratefully so. I then found myself saying what I had heard so many people with similar circumstances say, and everyone told me that I would say; "I wish I had done this so much sooner." My new parts gave me back the OLD ME, and there is no difference in the way I move, function, or perform. In fact one of my favorite sports had been competing in mogul skiing competitions, and one of my buddies just stated this season that "It's great to see the old Jeff is back in form" as we skied out in Colorado through the moguls. He said you look fluid again just like the old days. That made my day, but what made me whole again are the genius, experience and skillful hands of Dr. Allen Inglis.

So if you are contemplating this surgery I would implore you not to hesitate, as you will come alive once again. You do not need to be an adrenaline junky such as myself to really appreciate the surgery. You will simply realize that your quality of life is back to the way it was prior to your injury. Do not wait, do not pass go, do not collect $200 lol. Talk to Dr. Inglis, and if you want please ask him to put you in touch with me and I'd be glad to discuss my new and improved life with you post surgery. Onward & Upward, and God bless!

Sincerely Jeff Bitsimis
