I owe Dr. Han Jo Kim a debt of huge debt of gratitude. He changed my life and led me into such a wonderful level of physical fitness and health that it was hard to imagine just 3 years ago.

I had spinal fusion surgery (combined with several other procedures) in May 2023 at the age of 72 due to scoliosis and spondylosis. Prior to that I could barely walk a half a city block without stopping. I had been an avid fitness buff since my 30s and had followed all the pain management protocols but I could see that my condition was deteriorating.

I had all but given up hope in March 2023 when I went to see Dr. Kim based on a recommendation from a trusted, local New Jersey orthopedic surgeon who could not recommend anyone in the area due to the complexity of my condition. I was elated when Dr. Kim said he could help me.

My life has more than changed - I am now living with such a joy thanks to the opportunities that have opened up to me. I am traveling without concerns and able to walk 13K to 15K steps a day when I can, playing pickleball, biking, exercising and enjoying my grandchildren and generally feel great! I still work hard on my fitness level with strength training, cardio and Pilates, and that certainly is also important.

This summer I am celebrating my 75th birthday and am looking to a family reunion in Yellowstone and the Grand Teton parks so I can hike with my grandkids and family! This is such a gift and I will be always so grateful to Dr. Kim and his outstanding team for providing me with this opportunity. Thank you so very much.
