Dr. Samuel Taylor operated on my right shoulder in July 2019 and on my left in November. I had extensive tendon damage and advanced arthritis in each shoulder. I was unable to swing a golf club, throw a baseball or swing a bat, activities which are important to me because I coach Little League baseball in Newark and am an avid golfer. Dr. Taylor repaired the damage and six weeks after the surgeries, I was out of the sling, doing physical therapy at HSS' Paramus location with Bradley Erler, an advanced PT clinician. Six months after the left shoulder surgery and eight months after Dr. Taylor operated on my right, I have almost all of my range of motion back and no pain. I am still doing PT with Brad through HSS' Telemedicine portal. Brad, Dr. Taylor, and his PA, Nick Estis, all did a terrific job rehabbing me, and when the golf courses open and baseball comes back, I expect to be on the course two to three times a week, as well as hitting fungoes and throwing batting practice again. The only thing they were not able to accomplish is to improve my golf game.
