After two months of undiagnosed severe pain, it was found that I was in need of a total hip replacement due to bone on bone degenerative hip disease. It came as a complete shock because I led quite the active lifestyle prior. After doing research on HSS, I chose Dr. Blevins to take on this procedure because of his excellent credentials. Upon meeting him, he eased my mind and ensured me of a quick recovery. As an added bonus, his office manager Vanessa was very attentive and always called me back immediately, which is rare. No matter my question or concern, she was always quick to respond.
Today, three months since receiving my hip replacement, I am back to my normal self and full activity. I am able to go to the park and chase after my grandchildren, climb ladders to do household repairs and my overall quality of life has improved immensely. Dr. Blevins is an outstanding surgeon and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone!
