I was told at 60 that I would need to have my hip replaced. I was in the midst of moving to New York, finding employment and a new home. I put off any thought of surgery and tried to maintain with various joint medications and exercise. At age 70 I could no longer bear the pain and could hardly walk. Life without walking and working was not an option for me! My daughter researched all the hospitals and doctors and off we went to HSS. From my very first encounter with the office staff and Dr. Bostrom I knew I was in the very best place. The kindness and concern with which I was treated and am still treated is fabulous. Under their amazing care I have gone on to have my other hip and knee replaced. I don't water ski or go on safari like the HSS ads but I volunteer at this great hospital and walk all over town! Believe those big blue billboards "Get back in the Game" - you will love it there!
