I initially sought out Dr. Kang for a MRSA infection of the right wrist/
hand that I had for 20 months on and off, more on. Complicating the infection was the fact that I have CRPS/RSD in the right hand/wrist.
Dr. Kang admitted me to HSS, performed surgery, and changed my cast daily for the 9 days I was admitted. After more rounds of antibiotics and casts, I was finally free of the MRSA.
I had unfortunately been misdiagnosed for 2 years before the CRPS diagnosis. In that time I had several surgeries that were unnecessary. Dr. Kang again came to the rescue. 3 more surgeries followed, concluding with a fusion of the bones in my thumb. All of this surgery has a happy ending. I am now healthier and have more controlled pain than I have in 14 years since my CRPS diagnosis.
