I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old, I am truly in love with the sport. But my senior year in high school, I tore my ACL. It was only the 3rd game of the season and I was so upset because I couldn't finish my last high school soccer season. Having to sit on the bench watching my teammates play and knowing I couldn't play was upsetting. But I knew I had to find a good doctor to reconstruct my ACL and to help me get back onto the field. As I was searching for doctors near me on the internet I came across Dr. Samuel Taylor. I read his website and from seeing the video he had on the website, I instantly knew he was going to be the right doctor. My first appointment he showed me my MRI and how he could tell that was my ACL. He broke everything down for me so I was able to understand everything that had happened and what will happen after surgery. He also explained how my surgery was going to work and what he was going to do to reconstruct my ACL. He also showed me a video on how it was going to happen. I felt very comfortable because I knew what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. When I arrived to the hospital on the day of my surgery everyone was so kind there, even Dr. Taylor had came out once or twice to check up on me before surgery. I was comfortable at the hospital but nervous at the same time because it was my first time getting surgery. After surgery Dr. Taylor came to check on me again in the recovery room and showed me the x-rays of my knee and how he reconstructed my ACL. Also the following day Dr. Taylor came to my room to see how I was feeling and how the pain was. And now 9 months later I finished Physical Therapy and Dr. Taylor gave me the OK to return to play soccer. I am extremely happy i chose Dr. Taylor to be my surgeon. Dr. Taylor has helped me "get back in the game"
