Thought I needed a new knee after lots of PT from a different organization. I could barely do stairs, was walking hurt, and hiking was bad. Dr. McLawhorn suggested a shot instead and it worked. I waited a year and got another shot. Then the pilot How You Move Lab was offered. I did it. Because of that program - I still do some of the exercises - I still have my original knees. I also hiked 100 miles on the TMB in the alps last summer and did a southwest national park tour with hikes the summer prior.

This Fall, I developed foot pain and went back to HSS. They sent me to Ivy Rehab (Hamden). The PT there got my gait back in control. My foot pain gone and my ankles are stronger. Because of that, I am going to run/walk a 10K in April- I have been training. I am also hiking the Dolomites this summer.

I truly thank HSS for this ability.
