I chose HSS based on its reputation and their flawless execution of my wife's recent spinal fusion surgery. She received expert care and compassionate post-operative support during her stay at the hospital. When I experienced knee pain recently, I visited Dr. Chalmers and was given outstanding service and expert care from the moment I met him and his team. The surgery was flawless. My scar is the envy of friends who also had knee surgery. He is patient, informative and compassionate, taking the time to address any and all questions and concerns. The entire team in the hospital was flawless, from the pre-operative visit throughout the surgery and the post-operative stay at the hospital. The nursing team, the physical therapists and the entire staff were consistently polite, supportive and concerned about my well-being, especially with managing my post-operative pain. I am grateful to Dr. Chalmers and the entire team at HSS for providing as positive an experience as one can possibly have with a difficult and disruptive surgery.
