When my knee pain began to significantly impact my ability to stand, walk or do just about anything, I went to see an orthopedist near my home. I was told I had a torn meniscus and needed surgery. I am able to walk long distances, stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and basically do anything I need to do. Several friends and family members have received this same treatment from other doctors and complain that the shots were very painful and didn't help at all. I tell then it's not about the medication, it's about the skill of the physician who administers it! Before beginning any course of knee treatment, make sure you see Dr. DiFelice first.
