On March 10th, 2017 I ruptured my left Achilles competing in a Professional Squash Tournament in Colombia. I was ranked 6 in the world at the time and I was one point away from winning the match and making it to the finals when my world came crashing down. I could not believe what had just happened to me. I flew back to New York and one week later, I was getting surgery by Dr. Charles Goodwin at HSS.

This was the start of the very long road to recovery that I was about to endure. Thanks to Dr. Goodwin, I had a very successful surgery and my Achilles healed nicely. It was an extremely difficult journey filled with a lot of ups and downs and doubts, but 10 months later I was back competing again on the Professional Squash Tour. With each tournament I could feel myself getting faster, stronger, and more confident in my movement. On March 10th, 2018, exactly one year after my rupture, I won my 4th US National Title. I was back better than ever and none of this would've been possible without Dr. Goodwin and HSS!
