I first met Dr. MacGillivray in December 2019 after experiencing an expected freak accident in March 2019. I came to Dr. MacGillivray after having prior surgeries with poor results. From the minute I met him I felt extremely comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. Dr. MacGillivray explained my treatment plan, my expected outcomes, and reassured me that my knee would be fixed. Then COVID hit and my surgery was pushed back. I felt disheartened but confident that my surgery would take place. Veronica and Pam at Dr. MacGillivray’s office were and are WONDERFUL!!!! Both of them worked with me on scheduling and the insurance process. Both were patient and extremely informative on the insurance process and exactly what I needed to do. I had my surgery in early June 2020 and spent the night at HSS. Dr. MacGillivray was so kind and reassured me about staying the night in the hospital. Dr. Friedman my anesthesiologist was also wonderful and my nurse on the 6th floor Francesca and PACU nurse Caroline were AMAZING! Both kept me calm, informed and reassured.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!!!! Thank you for fixing my knee but more importantly thank you for giving me my life back!!!! I highly recommend Dr. MacGillivray and I am truly blessed to have found him. Thank you to HSS for your world class care!!
