Alyssa Estevez

My daughter, Alyssa, trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. After dislocating her shoulder during a super fight, Alyssa’s Professor (and godfather), Omar Jimenez, immediately recommended that she be seen by Dr. MacGillivray because of his own shoulder surgery experiences with him. Alyssa was diagnosed with a labral tear and needed surgery to correct it. Dr. MacGillivray’s knowledge, experience, honesty, and hospitality did not go unnoticed. Alyssa is back on the mats doing what she loves. Training daily and competing. She recently won bronze at the September 2022 ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship in Las Vegas as well gold medals in several other local tournaments. She now also looks forward to wrestling in high school. On behalf of her mother, godfather/professor, and Alyssa herself, we can’t thank Dr. MacGillivray, Pam, and the whole HSS team enough.
