I was unlucky to fully rupture my Achilles playing soccer the week of Thanksgiving 2022, and received really lackadaisical care from another provider that motivated me to pivot (figuratively only, of course) quickly to HSS, and I couldn't be more thankful. I was in surgery less than 48 hours from my first appointment with Dr. Cody, who was incredibly insightful, knowledgeable and clearly experienced. I felt really well informed and prepared throughout and Dr. Cody's focus, clarity, and calmness made that possible. After the surgery, I worked with Mario at HSS Sports Rehab in Stamford and he took my recovery so seriously, pushing me to regain strength and stability faster than I thought possible - he even integrated soccer-specific activities that were not only physically helpful, but mentally helpful as well. Nothing but positive things to say about the entire HSS ecosystem.
