For a twelve year old boy, Aidan has played competitive volleyball for the Long Island Volleyball Club for two seasons. However, at the end of his second season, Aidan felt a strong pop in his knee while shagging balls at practice. Aidan was diagnosed with Osteochondritis Dissecans by our local orthopedic doctor.

After visiting several orthopedic doctors and surgeons throughout Long Island and New York City, we were extremely frustrated that all of these doctors could diagnose, but really did not have the expertise to perform Aidan's surgery. Fortunately, we found Dr. Fabricant whose words still ring in my ears - "I'm your man for Aidan's surgery". Of course, Aidan's results speak for themselves. Six months after surgery, Aidan was cleared for practice and 8 months after surgery, Aidan rejoined his team in Richmond, Virginia for the Southeast Championship Tournament. Aidan played very well and pain free.

We couldn't be happier with the results from Dr. Fabricant and the team of HSS, who not only did an outstanding job for us while we were at HSS, but who diligently reviewed Aidan's progress with his physical therapist. The PT said to me, "I've never dealt with another surgeon or staff like this. Dr. Fabricant spoke with me at great length about how the program should be administered, answered all my questions and really knew about Aidan. They've been wonderful."

Thank you Dr. Fabricant and HSS for getting Aidan Back in the Game!
