I was diagnosed with a frayed plantar fascia and plantar fasciitis that was unbearable for an extended period of time. After seeing a podiatrist and orthopedist affiliated elsewhere, having worn a soft cast, a boot and suffered for over 6 months doing everything recommended and suggested to return to my normal very active lifestyle, I got to see Dr. Ellis. I did all the recommendations and finally had a CT guided cortisone injection and within a relative short time following his recommendations, I was back to my routine of classes at my gym (barre, Pilates, spin, etc.) 5 days per week and golf! I also wear very stylish (and probably unsuitable) shoes frequently. I just celebrated my 76th birthday and my activity schedule and dress code hasn’t altered!
