In February 2015, my son Nicholas came home from baseball workouts with discomfort in his pitching arm. Without hesitation, we called HSS and were referred to Dr. Wang. After his MRI, we were referred to Dr. Joshua Dines. To our surprise, our son at age 17 needed Tommy John surgery. We were all shocked and disappointed about this setback going into his junior year of high school. After meeting with Dr. Dines we were all much more optimistic that Nick could come through this and get back in the game. He had his surgery on March 23,2015. With patience, determination, and hard work over the last year, Nick regained strength in his pitching arm.

On April 6th, 2016 Nick pitched his first game after surgery. He pitched 6 1/3 innings of hitless balls bringing his team, St Peter's Prep, to a victory. His arm felt great afterwards.

Nick will be playing baseball next season in college.

We want to thank Dr. Dines, his staff, and HSS for their great care.
