I have been a dancer for over 30 years. In California I danced Congolese, Brazillian samba and bellydance. and in New York I danced bellydance along with Chicago Style Stepping.

When I was 23 I tore my meniscus on stage dancing with Le Quatre Etoile. However at that age, I was able to continue dancing through the injury. When I turned 52 in 2016, that changed when I re-tore my left knee meniscus playing soccer and doing Chicago Style step. My husband is a dance and sports physical therapist with a private practice who is particular about whom he sends his clients. But he didn't hesitate to suggest Dr. Answorth Allen.

As I am still an avid dancer, I had a huge social that I was planning to attend the end of July, and I told Dr. Allen I needed to get back in the game immediately! We scheduled my surgery for the Thursday before Memorial Day 2016, and by July, less than two months later, between my great physical therapy my husband gave me and Dr. Allen, I was back in my dance shoes spinning and dancing!
